A leading company in the manufacturing sector, K2 Recruit, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Health & Safety Officer to ensure full compliance with ISO 45001 and other occupational health and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity to shape workplace safety within a dynamic team based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with ISO 45001 standards and other occupational health and safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in workplace health and safety practices.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

• Qualification: Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in an occupational health and safety role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
