Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, delegating tasks while monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are replenished timely and within budget.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure standards are met and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Manager to implement and improve housekeeping procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Responsibilities: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R25,000 – R35,000 per month.
