A leading FMCG company is currently seeking a reliable Bookkeeper/Accountant to support its day-to-day financial operations in Somerset West. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled financial professional eager to contribute to a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable, making sure all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile bank statements with business accounts monthly, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to help guide financial planning.

Requirements

  • Qualification: A relevant degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
