Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations in the boilershop, ensuring high production standards and safety protocols are met.
- Supervise and mentor a team of qualified boilermakers and welders, facilitating continuous improvement in performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute workflows and maintain inventory levels of welding materials.
- Implement best practices in welding and boilermaking, troubleshooting any issues that arise during manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Qualification: Must be a qualified Boilermaker/Welder with relevant certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar environment, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Skills: Excellent understanding of welding techniques and safety regulations.
- Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
