Key Responsibilities
- Execute fitting and turning tasks efficiently while supervising junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality checks during operations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior fitters and apprentices.
- Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues and contribute to maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate daily workloads and ensure optimal resource allocation.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade Tested as a Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in a fitting role with supervisory responsibilities.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, leadership qualities, and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
