Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meat dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
- Ensure all meat products are properly stored, labeled, and rotated in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of meat supplies to maintain quality standards in the kitchen.
- Support the Executive Chef in implementing new recipes and cooking techniques to improve guest satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
Requirements
- Qualification: Culinary diploma or equivalent experience in a culinary environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in high-volume catering or cruise ships.
- Skills: Strong knife skills and knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation methods.
- Certifications: Food handling and safety certification is an advantage.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
