A leading company in the leisure sector, Beekman Group is currently seeking a dedicated Resort Manager. This is a prime opportunity to join a vibrant team at Formosa Bay Resort in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Manage resort staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, forecasting revenues and managing expenses effectively.
- Communicate with guests to handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage resort inventory and procurement.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a management role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be available for shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R35,000 – R50,000 per month.
