Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Housekeeping Manager at The Cape Town EDITION Hotel

A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a dedicated Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This is a prime opportunity to join a dynamic pre-opening team in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory management: Regularly assess stock levels to ensure that adequate cleaning supplies and amenities are available for housekeeping staff.
  • Guest communication: Ensure timely and efficient communication of guest room status to the Front Desk to facilitate smooth check-ins and experiences.
  • Team leadership: Assist in training and supervising housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
  • Quality control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to uphold hotel cleanliness standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Operational support: Collaborate with maintenance to address any issues swiftly and effectively to enhance guest comfort.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in hospitality or related fields, with a focus on housekeeping management.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to interact with guests and team members effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Education: Relevant qualification in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
