A leading company, Mathco, is seeking a reliable and motivated Storeman to join our warehouse and operations team. As a Storeman, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of our logistics operations in Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that goods are in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels by accurately documenting incoming and outgoing shipments, and supervising the safe storage of materials.
- Coordinate with the operations team to facilitate timely and accurate picking and packing of orders.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while handling materials and operating warehouse equipment.
- Assist in regular stocktakes and audits to maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman role, preferably within steel, industrial, or plumbing sectors.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R15,000 per month.
