Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the reinsurance portfolio to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with reinsurers and brokers, negotiating terms to benefit the organization.
- Evaluate and assess reinsurance proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on risk exposures to senior management based on in-depth analysis.
- Lead and support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to reinsurance operations.
Requirements
- Qualification: Matric and a relevant degree, preferably with a qualification in Insurance.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the insurance or reinsurance industry, with specific experience in the cell captive market.
- Compliance: FAIS compliance is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and proven ability in stakeholder management and negotiation.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R60,000 – R90,000 per month.
