Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications and ensure the appropriate use of pharmaceuticals in accordance with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) standards.
- Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding their health and medication, showcasing excellent patient care.
- Supervise and guide pharmacy staff, including pharmacist assistants and interns, to maintain a high level of service.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure the pharmacy remains well-stocked and compliant with legislative requirements.
- Conduct health screenings and promote various wellness programs to enhance community health.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Registered with SAPC as a pharmacist with relevant work experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work within a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at managing pharmacy operations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R35,000 – R45,000 per month.
