A leading company, Brilliant Computers, is seeking a dedicated IT Network Support (Dispatch) professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in Joubertina, Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical access to network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls as instructed by the Remote Support Team.
- Conduct verification and reporting on LED status, link status, alarms, fan/power status, and cabling condition.
- Work collaboratively with the Remote Support Team to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
- Perform maintenance on network devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document all network issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant IT qualification or certification in networking.
- Experience: Proven experience in a network support role, preferably within a similar environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of networking protocols, troubleshooting methodologies, and network devices.
- Attributes: Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Physical Capability: Ability to conduct on-site assessments of network devices and infrastructure.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
