Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all bookkeeping records.
- Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and tax returns.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain up-to-date financial information.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational planning.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits, providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant financial degree or diploma (e.g., BCom Accounting).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Pastel).
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
