A leading company, Greys Personnel, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver / Companion. This role focuses on providing support for a 27-year-old gentleman who is high-functioning autistic and requires dedicated assistance in a private residence in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the client, ensuring a positive and engaging environment.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and household chores.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to relevant parties.
- Facilitate and encourage participation in social activities and outings.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable living space by maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver or companion, preferably with neurodivergent individuals.
- Qualification: Certification in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
