Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an Occupational Health program to ensure the physical, psychological, and social well-being of workers in a safe working environment.
- Monitor employees’ health status through ongoing surveillance, actively reporting findings to the management.
- Implement health risk assessments and design appropriate interventions to enhance workplace safety.
- Provide health education and training to employees on occupational health matters.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health legislation and standards.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant nursing qualification and registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an occupational health setting or similar healthcare environment.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently.
- Knowledge: Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
