Exciting Opportunity: Front Office Receptionist in Cape Town

A leading company in the hospitality industry is seeking a personable and professional Front Office Receptionist to join our front desk team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in customer-oriented environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with a positive approach.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Process reservations and provide information on hotel amenities and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including handling phone calls and maintaining guest records.
  • Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays to meet the staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical: Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software.
  • Personal: Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
