A leading company, The Recruiter, is urgently seeking 15 experienced Building Foremen to join a well-known, large property developer in the Durbanville area of Cape Town. This is a prime opportunity to oversee residential construction projects from site establishment through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage site operations, including coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports for management.
- Lead and mentor junior site staff to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant diploma or degree in construction management or civil engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a building foreman role within residential construction.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
