Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and support apprentices or junior staff to develop their skills and enhance team performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure efficient operation.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble components.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter & Turner (Red Seal).
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Additional: Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R160,000 – R180,000 per year.
