Exciting Opportunity: Bilingual Public Finance Management Consultant (French/English) in South Africa

A leading company, Genesis Analytics, is currently seeking a dedicated Bilingual Public Finance Management Consultant proficient in both French and English. This is a prime opportunity to contribute to strengthening public finance management systems across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate public finance management systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform budget tagging of cross-sectoral spending, with a focus on climate change and sustainable development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the efficient allocation of public expenditures conducive to enhancing governance and service delivery.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for improving public finance management frameworks and practices.
  • Participate in capacity-building initiatives to empower stakeholders in effectively using public resources.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Advanced degree in Public Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public finance management, with fluency in French and English.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in budgeting software and tools relevant to public finance management.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 per month.

(Note: Salary figures are based on industry standards and market estimates.)
