A leading company, Phakisa, is currently seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Environmental Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at a gold processing plant in Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards within the plant.
- Proactively identify risks and implement appropriate safety measures to mitigate hazards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide training and support for staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation and reports to support regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills; knowledge of safety management systems.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R22,000 per month.
