A leading renewable energy developer, Copper Quail, is currently seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Expert. This is a prime opportunity to join a dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and applicable safety regulations across all renewable energy projects.
- Review and approve contractor Health & Safety plans to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety compliance and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff and contractors on health and safety protocols.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and incident investigations to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Qualification: A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in health and safety within the renewable energy sector.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, SAMTRAC, or equivalent health and safety qualifications are highly advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent communication and training skills, along with a strong analytical ability to assess risks.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R25,000 – R40,000 per month.
