A leading company, Abantu Staffing Solutions, is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Agent to join their team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. This full-time, site-based position offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to lead and manage construction projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of on-site construction management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project progression.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Manage project resources effectively, including labor allocation and material management.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on progress, addressing any challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in project management.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction safety standards and best practices.
- Availability: Must be willing to work Monday to Saturday.
