Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage government affairs strategies aligned with Microsoft’s goals and objectives globally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders to effectively communicate Microsoft’s priorities.
  • Advise on public policy issues affecting Microsoft, staying ahead of emerging legislation and regulatory trends.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a unified approach to public engagement and corporate responsibility.
  • Conduct analyses on government actions and provide recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience: Significant experience in government affairs, public affairs, or public policy within government or corporate sectors.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills with proficiency in strategic planning and crisis management.
  • Education: Relevant degree (Masters preferred) in Public Policy, Political Science, or related fields.
  • Network: Established network of government contacts and familiarity with legislative processes.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Offer: R1,200,000 – R1,800,000 per year.
