Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards in cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, creating a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and excellent service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain effective communication between housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels, housekeeping performance, and maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Education: Matric/Grade 12, with additional qualifications in hospitality management being advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month.
