A leading company in the eCommerce sector, Datafin, is seeking a talented IT Security Officer. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and requires a strong technical ability to enhance the security posture across environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain the security posture across cloud environments to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing timely resolution and analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend security enhancements and upgrades to existing systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all technology initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a cloud infrastructure environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and relevant compliance standards.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are highly advantageous.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R40,000 – R60,000 per month.
