Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the pharmacist in the dispensing of medications and ensure adherence to the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient profiles, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in managing stock levels and performing stock takes, including the ordering of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide excellent customer service by advising patients on proper medication usage and over-the-counter medicines.
Requirements
- Qualification: Completed Pharmacist Assistant qualification, registered with the SAPC.
- Experience: Hands-on experience with Unisolv and familiarity with pharmacy operations.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and an aptitude for customer service.
