A leading company, Top Vitae Recruitment, is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic. This is a prime opportunity to join a dedicated team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain diesel vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently.
- Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other key components.
- Collaborate with a team of mechanics to complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate reports on vehicle maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conducting pre-use inspections.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, preferably code EC with a PDP.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a diesel mechanic role.
- Specialization: Experience with trucks and auto electrical work is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R18,000 – R24,000 per month.
