Key Responsibilities
- Accurate handling of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions to ensure the correctness of all monetary exchanges.
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their inquiries and payment processing.
- Maintain cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure the integrity of cash and receipts.
- Collaborate with store management to resolve any discrepancies and maintain an accurate inventory count for cash in hand.
- Assist in merchandising activities as needed, supporting the overall store appearance and customer shopping experience.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or retail position is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
