Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the welding team to ensure that all welding operations meet industry standards.
- Maintain welder qualification records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Requisition and manage supplies required for welding processes and operations.
- Coordinate and schedule welding tasks to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform regular inspections of welding activities and provide guidance for improvement.
- Assist in troubleshooting welding issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant welding certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a welding environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
