Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and determine appropriate physiotherapy treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set achievable goals for patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and caregivers regarding treatment processes and expectations.
- Prescribe mobility and rehabilitation equipment tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
- Plan and implement discharge and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R25,000 – R40,000 per month.
