Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full debtors function: including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and maintain debtors reports to track outstanding payments.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment delays and outstanding invoices.
- Work closely with the logistics team to resolve any billing inquiries.
- Assist in the development of improved debtor processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Qualification: Matric plus relevant accounting certification or degree.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a debtors or accounts receivable role, preferably within the logistics sector.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in accounting software.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
💰 Salary Insight
