Exciting Opportunity: Millwright in Johannesburg

A leading company, Phakisa, is currently seeking a skilled Millwright. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in the safe operations and maintenance of industrial equipment within a thriving environment in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical failures of equipment as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve equipment reliability.
  • Document service and repair activities accurately for future reference.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Certification: Qualified Millwright Trade Test Certificate is mandatory.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
