A leading company in the marine industry, Western Cape Recruitment, is currently seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager. This is a prime opportunity to take full responsibility for the procurement process in a dynamic environment located in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials required for production.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and quality for the complete Bill of Materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the procurement process.
Requirements
- Qualification: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within a manufacturing or marine industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities and negotiation skills, with proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in procurement management.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R40,000 – R60,000 per month.
