Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment within the distribution center.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve operational efficiency and machinery performance.
- Diagnose faults using established troubleshooting techniques for optimal equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Qualification: Trade-tested artisan with Red Seal certification; qualified as Mechanical Fitter or Millwright.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years’ post-trade maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Skills: Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective solutions.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R30,000 – R40,000 per month.
