Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop and execute high-quality pastry offerings.
- Lead and manage pastry production plans, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Oversee and train kitchen staff in pastry techniques, ensuring adherence to recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies, ensuring all necessary items are in stock for production.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-volume, 4/5 Star establishment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of pastry techniques and presentation.
- Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent is highly desirable.
