Exciting Opportunity: Labour Relations Officer: Misconduct Disputes and Grievances in Cape Town

A wonderful chance awaits you! The Western Cape Government is in search of a capable Labour Relations Officer to manage misconduct disputes and grievances. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle misconduct disputes promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Investigate grievances lodged by employees and provide resolution guidance.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees on labour relations policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of disputes and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth conflict resolution processes.

Requirements

  • Qualification: A relevant degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or Law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a labour relations role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of South African labour laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R397,116 – R467,790 per year.
