Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Foster a culture of safety through effective communication and collaboration with all team members.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a health and safety role within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of South African health and safety legislation and standards.
- Certification: NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R25,000 – R35,000 per month.
