Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as directed and monitor patient health and vital signs regularly.
- Assist with daily living activities, helping patients maintain independence while ensuring their safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care and patient well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient’s living environment.
- Document care activities and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Education: Certificate in caregiving or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
- Experience: Prior experience as a caregiver, preferably in a home or clinical setting.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, compassion, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to assist with mobility and required physical tasks.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary Range: R10,000 – R15,000 per month.
