Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert pharmaceutical care and advise patients on medication and health-related matters.
- Supervise and train Pharmacist Assistants and Interns, ensuring adherence to standards of practice.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy resources efficiently to prevent shortages and overstock.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and monitor the dispensing process for compliance.
- Conduct health screenings and immunization services as part of community care initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent qualification recognized by the South African Pharmacy Council.
- Experience: Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council with experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient care and safety.
- Knowledge: Up-to-date with pharmaceutical regulations and best practices in dispensary services.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R30,000 – R50,000 per month.
