Exciting Opportunity: Receptionist/Switchboard Operator in Stellenbosch

Delaire Graff Estate, a prestigious establishment in the heart of Stellenbosch, is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist/Switchboard Operator to join their dynamic team. If you have a passion for hospitality and customer service, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and manage their inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Operate the telephone and switchboard service, efficiently handling calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide assistance and information to callers and guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable for guests.
  • Handle administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.

Requirements

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Hospitality or Administration is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor; proficiency in phone systems and basic computer applications.
  • Attributes: Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R15,000 – R25,000 per month.
