Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights into financial performance.
- Generate financial reports to present to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Maintain and update the company’s accounting software, particularly Pastel, to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within the construction industry is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Pastel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Salary: R18,000 – R25,000 per month.
