Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Director – Transversal Work Organisation Capacity Enablement in Cape Town

A leading company, the Western Cape Government, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Assistant Director: Transversal Work Organisation Capacity Enablement. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the application of job evaluation systems to ensure consistent grading practices across the government departments.
  • Manage and direct the capacity enablement strategies, ensuring alignment with government services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance work organisation efficiency across departments.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant policies and procedures in job evaluation and grading.
  • Provide managerial support and guidance in the implementation of best practices in workforce organisation.

Requirements

  • Qualification: A relevant degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the government sector.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and knowledge of government policies related to workforce organisation.
  • Competency: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.

💰 Salary Insight

Official Offer: R468,459 – R561,894 per year.
