Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to assist in installation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct repairs and service on a variety of mechanical systems and components.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operation and safety standards.
- Assist in the training and development of junior fitters and apprentices.
Requirements
- Qualification: Mechanical Fitter trade test or equivalent mechanical qualification.
- Advantage: Fitter and Turner qualification will be considered an asset.
- Experience: Proven experience in mechanical fitting within an industrial environment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate machinery safely.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R10,000 – R16,000 per month.
