A leading company, Reboot Monkey, is currently seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will support critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data center operations, ensuring optimal performance of servers and network equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on data center hardware and software.
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues related to hardware failures and system outages.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to implement upgrades and new installations.
- Document technical processes and procedures to maintain operational best practices.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant IT certification or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a data center or IT support role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in server and network hardware, virtualization, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
💰 Salary Insight
Official Offer: R270,000 – R380,000 per year.
