Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Establish and enforce cleaning procedures, schedules, and protocols to support the lodge’s operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order stock as needed.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management for the housekeeping department.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any housekeeping-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with attention to detail.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or related fields preferred.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
