A leading company, Cell C Limited, is currently seeking a seasoned professional as a Manager: Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ). This is a prime opportunity to join a dynamic team of #Unstoppables, located in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that promote a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Provide training and support to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics and compliance status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate safety initiatives and improvements.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SHEQ management, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Certification: NEBOSH or similar qualification is an advantage.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R45,000 – R70,000 per month.
