A leading company, The Legends Agency, is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer (SACPCMP Registered). This is a prime opportunity to ensure compliance and drive safety excellence across fire protection project sites in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify safety hazards.
- Facilitate safety training and awareness programs for all staff and contractors.
- Assist in the development of safety documentation including risk assessments and safety plans.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety standards are adhered to throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Qualification: SACPCMP registration is mandatory, along with relevant safety certifications.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a safety role, preferably within the construction or fire protection industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of safety legislation and best practices, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
💰 Salary Insight
Estimated Offer: R20,000 – R30,000 per month.
