Exciting Opportunity: Receptionist / Switchboard Operator in Gqeberha

Tracker is hiring a friendly and dynamic Receptionist / Switchboard Operator for their Client Experience department in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. This role is essential for ensuring seamless communication and providing a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the switchboard, directing calls to appropriate personnel efficiently.
  • Receive and welcome visitors and customers with a friendly demeanor.
  • Provide information and assistance to clients, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area to create a positive first impression.
  • Handle queries and concerns from clients with professionalism and tact.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in office administration are an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Technical: Proficient in MS Office Suite and comfortable operating a switchboard.
  • Personal Attributes: Friendly, professional appearance, and a positive attitude towards client service.

💰 Salary Insight

Estimated Market Salary: R10,000 – R14,000 per month.
