A leading company, MSP Staffing, is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse ICU Qualified to join a high-acuity critical care unit in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. This role is ideal for an experienced ICU nurse who is clinically confident and able to perform under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care plans.
Requirements
- Qualification: Valid South African Nursing Council registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an ICU setting.
- Skills: Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
