Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot equipment failures.
Requirements
- Qualification: National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF4.
- Trade Specific: Diesel Mechanic Trade certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Specialization: Experience in maintaining MAN trucks is preferable.
